I am a Senior Staff Network Architect and Sr. Manager at Uber Technology, where I lead Uber's mobile and edge network organization responsible for managing all Uber's ingress/egress Internet traffic. Before Uber, I was a researcher and Sr. Manager at Alibaba Group Sunnyvale, where I was responsible for building the next generation mobile and wide area networking technologies for Alibaba's global network infrastructure that supports Alibaba core businesses including e-commerce (e.g., Taobao, Tmall, Ele.me), video conferencing (e.g., Dingtalk) and AliCloud. Before joining Alibaba, I was a postdoctoral associate in Signal Kinetics group at MIT Media Lab, supervised by Prof. Fadel Adib, where my research explored and developed technologies and algorithms in wireless & mobile networks. I received Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2016 advised by Prof. Edwin C. Kan and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2010, where I was in the 00-class program (理科试验班). I have been a Senior Engineer at the Oracle (Sun Microsystems) in Santa Clara, CA in 2016 and Engineering Intern at Qualcomm in San Diego, CA in 2015. I was born and raised in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, and I graduated from Xuzhou No.1 Middle School.
